About Xenia, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Xenia, Ohio serves as the county seat of Greene County, and it is located 21 miles from Dayton. With a population of nearly 26,000 residents, Xenia is the third largest city in the county, training Fairborn and Beavercreek. In terms of population, it is the largest community in the U.S. with a name starts with the letter X. Xenia was founded in 1803, and in the years prior to the Civil War, many of its residents were supporters of the Underground Railroad. Today, the community is located within the “transportation triangle” that is formed by three major highways: I-75, I-71, and I-70.

Xenia is home to a wealth of things to do that both visitors and residents can enjoy. History buffs may enjoy a visit to the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center or the nearby Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument. The Green County Fair and Exposition Center is located in this community, and the Xenia Area Community Theater offers a variety of performances throughout the year. The Kil-Kare Speedway and Drag Strip is a popular destination for fans of racing and cars, and the Schindler Banquet Center offers a beautiful venue for special events held in Xenia.

If you are thinking about moving to or visiting Xenia, it is important to understand that weather conditions here are variable throughout the year. Summers are hot and humid, with temperatures reaching the upper-80s on an average July day. Without an air conditioner to help you hide out from the heat, you could be putting yourself in danger, as heat-related illnesses can strike without warning. Likewise, dangerous weather can occur in the winter, when temperatures drop to the low-20s overnight. Not only can exposure to these temperatures be detrimental for your health, but they it can also lead to an expensive repair bill if your pipes freeze, so invest in a furnace or heat pump to regulate temperatures in your home.
